General Information
The Scientific Department was formed in August, 1996. Since then the Dean of the Department has been Prof. O.V. Kartunov, PhD in History – one of the founders of Political Science and the Ethnopolitics major in Ukraine, co-author of the first textbook in Political Studies Essentials, author of the first textbook in Ethnopolitics – Introduction to Ethnopolitics (Вступ до етнополітології. - К., 1999, 17 др. ар.). He published more than 350 scientific works in Ukrainian, Russian, English, German and other languages and was a guest professor at such Universities as California, Kansas, Colorado (USA), London, Hall (UK), Berlin (Germany), Central-European (Czech Republic), Jagelon (Poland), Moscow State and many other foreign and Ukrainian Universities.
The Scientific Department of Social Sciences carries out intensive cooperation with the following institutions:
